Will Taylor and Strings Attached will bring alive new interpretations of two master Canadian songwriters.

While Joni Mitchell never held claim to the #1 spot on the Billboard charts (her highest was #7 – can you name it? See the * at bottom for the answer!), we suspect you have a place in your hearts for all the words to many of the songs you’ll hear, including…

  • Early Hits: Circle Game, Chelsea Morning
  • From “Blue”: All I Want, River
  • From “Hejira”: Coyote,Blue Hotel Room, Hejira
  • … and many more.

In 1988 Strings Attached Bassist Steve Zirkel was one of several Austin jazz musicians to be choosen by Cohen to join his band for a world tour. For Steve the experience reached a pinacle when they returned to Austin to perform on Austin City Limits in what many consider to be one of the best ACL shows.

Some Songs we'll be doing:
So Long Marianne

  • Hallelujah
  • Famous Blue Raincoat
  • Night Comes
  • Story of Isaac

P.S. * The answer? Joni’s highest charting song was Help Me off of “Court and Spark” which hit #7 on the Billboard charts.
