Strings Attached Season 8 Buy Season Tickets Here Season Eight of the Strings Attached series has been announced. This year we're going to change things up a bit. Instead of three shows on three nights, we're only going to do one or two shows on Saturday and one Sunday matinee at the Uptown Theater Marble Falls. For the most part the shows this season will be encore performances of shows from previous seasons—a best of Strings Attached, if you will. One show will be determined by fan input, but more about that later. The venue has also changed. This year we will be performing at Momo's and Threadgills. The first three shows of the season will be at Momo's. Because of its smaller size there will be an early and late show for those concerts. The remaining shows will be at Threadgill's and will have only one performance (unless we sell out, in which case we may add a second performance). [The Sunday matinee is not part of the season tickets. Tickets for those performance can be obtained from uptownmarble.com.] Here are the dates (all are Saturdays unless otherwise noted): December 19 (Friday) - Hits of the 60s & 70s, | Momo's (8 PM and 10:30 PM) January 17 -Strings Attached Fan pic show, Momo's (8 PM and 10:30 PM)| February 21 - The Songs of Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell, Momo's (8 PM and 10:30 PM) March 28 - The Beatles' Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper albums live, Threadgill's (9 PM) April 18 - The Music of Led Zeppelin, Threadgill's (9 PM) May 3 - The Music of Peter Gabriel, Threadgill's (9 PM) June 20 - The Music of Eliza Gilkyson, Slaid Cleaves, Ray Wylie, and Jimmy La Fave, Threadgill's (9 PM)| July 18 - The Music of Shawn Colvin, Patrice Pike, Ian Moore, and Darden Smith, Threadgill's (9 PM) August 15 - The Music of Pink Floyd, Threadgill's (9 PM) Guest performers will be announced later. Momo's, 618 W 6th, Suite # 200 (upstairs), Austin, TX 78701 Threadgill's, 301 W Riverside Drive, Austin, TX 78704 Season ticket holders will get reserved seating and $5 off each regular ticket price ($45 for the season). If season tickets sell out, there will be no reserved tickets available on an individual basis. So get your tickets now. Here are the advantages of buying season tickets.
